Patient Satisfaction in the Complete Removal of Giant Breast Fibroadenoma under Vacuum-Associated Breast Biopsy Procedure

INTRODUCTION: Fibroadenomas are one of the most common benign tumors breast in adolescent population. They account for 68% all masses and 44–94% biopsied lesions. can range from asymptomatic to painful rapidly growing that cause significant esthetic distortions breast. With examinations becoming women as young their 20s, excision using vacuum-assisted biopsy (VABB) became more common. The VABB procedure with ultrasound guiding is still used removal tumors. CASE REPORT: A 24-year ago woman presents complaints a lump right 3 years, slow growing. mass diameter about 6 cm no ulcers. Ultrasound examination found solid mass, firm boundaries, regular contours, mobile outer quadrant breast, specific microcalcification size 6.13 × 3.11 5.33 (BIRADS 4a). Core showed fibroadenoma mammae intracanalicular pericanalicular. We an 8G needle got 458 slices 100 g. After procedure, total obtained by previously existing cm. CONCLUSIONS: very effective efficient removing (benign lesion) results satisfactory. advantage this apart cosmetic aspect which does not leave any marks also high level safety. From our case, we take complete cm, whereas previous literature, it only remove 3–4 size.

A 12-year-old girl presented with a 15 × 15 cm, rapidly enlarging mass in left breast. Fine-needle aspiration cytology showed a benign proliferative breast lesion. Total excision of the mass was done preserving nipple and areola. Histopathology features were suggestive of giant fibroadenoma with benign phyllodes.
